Description

Join me in the studio for a Quilting Confidence Sampler class.

Do you enjoy piecing your quilt and then have a feeling of dread when it comes to quilting. If so, this class is perfect for you. It will help to give you ideas for quilting, 

In this class we create nine 16 patch blocks. Each one of these will be quilted in a different design using a walking foot and straight line quilting. We will the join the blocks and create a quilt using a quilt as you go method.

You can create your quilt with co-ordinated fabrics or else you can go for a scrappy quilt. If you prefer, materials can be provided.

This class is held over three days (18 hours). I am happy to arrange three consectutive days, or spread the 18 hours over a number of weeks to fit with your schedule.

  • How is this course delivered?

    This is an in person class held in the studio based in Sheffield.  Due to current circumstances, there is a limited number of places available.  This will be reviewed on a regular basis

  • Are the materials provided?

    I will give you contact details you before the class with all the fabric requirements.  There is the option to add the materials to the cost of the class

  • Will I need to bring equipment?

    If you want to bring your own sewing kit (scissors, rotary cutter etc,) and/or sewing machine, you are more than welcome to do so.  However, there are a limited number of machines available to use in the studio.  If you want to use your machine, please bring it with you

  • Refreshments

    Tea, coffee, squash and some snacks will be available.  You may wish to bring your own cup.  If you need to bring lunch, then please bring a packed lunch.  There is a small fridge in the studio
