In this day when more of us are thinking about the impact on the environment, using reclaimed fabric has it benefits. It can bring new life to fabrics that would otherwise find it's way into landfill.
This fun workshop uses shirts to create a range of sewn items As well as developing our sewing skills, we will be combining patchwork and quilting to create a selection of the following items:
apron, cushion cover, coin purses, zipped pouches, pot holders and more
We will also cover good sources of recycled fabrics and ideas for using them.
This class is suitable for all abilities
Materials will be provided, but if you have a special shirt you would like to use, please bring it along.
