Description

If you've grown up with pets, you will know how quickly they become a part of the family and how they really do 'touch your heart'. This pattern has been created to capture the playful nature of the cat as he reaches out for your heart.

In this class, we will cover raw edge appliqué, sewing a flange and quilting.
You can choose to create a wall hanging or a cushion cover. If you decide to create a cushion cover, you will also learn how to insert a zip. You will see that zips do not have to be scary. We will also cover top stitching and binding.

    This is an in person class held in our Sheffield Studio at SOAR Works

  • Will I need to bring equipment?

    If you want to bring your own sewing kit (scissors, rotary cutter etc,) and/or sewing machine, you are more than welcome to do so.  However, there are a limited number of machines available to use in the studio.  If you want to use your machine, please bring it with you

  • Refreshments

    Tea, coffee, squash and some snacks will be available.  You may wish to bring your own cup.  If you need to bring lunch, then please bring a packed lunch.  There is a small fridge in the studio
